Guys, the_laser won't fail, just give him and his team some time, i mean, they did it for all the CID's up to 51, why they wouldn't make it to 53?

Don't worry, it'll come someday

The problem is not CID53, jdflasher allready has support for flashing/fs acces CID53 based phones, thanks to den_po. The biggest problem of them all is DB3150..

Im hoping that we were told to forget it for now because it will be 2 versions ahead when DB3150 is included.
The next version will only have multi platfrom support.

Oh, by the way, when speaking of Linux...

I'd be kind of interested in specs on the SEMC flash interface. Can such info be found somewhere or does one have to do it the hard way and eavesdrop on the USB traffic?

Cheers

just curious on one thing though.. why must there be multi platforming? don't most people use windows? and.. you can always multi boot (im on osx/vista).. its not hard to multi-boot.. i mean.. why isn't there more priority given to develop xs++ for use with db3150 since so many ppl are begging for it? lol. just wondering. smile.gif

Well, for one, most is actually just about 87.4%, the other 12.6% are out. 12.6% of the total computers around the world are?

Don't get people started on windows...

I think the rest of the people not using windows are not all linux users, but mostly mac's.

There's no priority-list, we have different people on different jobs and multi-platform was what got done first.

@Beta testers,

XS++ CROSS PLATFORM: v4.1 *BETA* CrossFire Status: Released!
The first LINUX complete flasher tool!

QUOTE
v.4.1

-Flash SEMC DB2000 / DB2010 / DB2020 / PNX
-GDFS Operations SEMC DB2000 / DB2010 / DB2020 / PNX

-NOTE: When customizing - you MUST have a dir named "cust" and inside that another dir named as the phone name e.g. "W850". Then just unzip your custpack to that directory. So you will have something like: ./cust/W850/HB1_06_Gen_CDA102568/tpa etc etc etc

-NOTE: You need to install libfltk 1.1

-NOTE: YOU WILL NEED TO SET UP CORRECT USB PERMISSIONS OR RUN THE PROGRAM AS ROOT!

XS++ will find it in the dropdown box.

Please standby for builds for other systems and architectures. FSX + PATCH + DB3150 Support to follow,,,This release is just to see how the cross platform build and usb como stands up to testing.

I decided to concentrate on a cross platform tool AND NOT db3150 because I seriously dislike windows, end of story. However, windows versions will be released.

XS++ 4.1 x64 binary: Attached File  XS___v4.1_x64.zip ( 10.02MB ) Number of downloads: 956

XS++ 4.1 x86 binary: Attached File  XS___v4.1b_x86.zip ( 10.01MB ) Number of downloads: 1761

FIX BROD K850i
OK SO, JUST THOUGHT I'D SHARE, I'D DONE THIS TWICE NOW WHEN I'VE RECEIVED BROD'S
TO FIX THIS ISSUE, JUST REPLACE THE FILES IN THE "BOOT" DIRECTORY OF YOUR PHONE WITH A SET FROM AN EXTRACTED FIRMWARE OR A BACKUP SET FOR YOUR PHONE.
