I bought a w300i and xe went under and I would like to use it with my att carrier. I am a complete noob when it comes to all of this so I need a ton of help, i.e. step by step and links to programs. I have my w300i and the cable thats it. Any replies would be appreciated....

You can do the patch unlock. It's free to unlock but it's not fully unlock.
Why not you search first and follow the tutorial.
