Sony Ericsson Logo

Today, I'm announcing a new theme design here at USEB. This one is meant to be lighter and generally better looking than the other one. This one is supposed to auto-fit according to your screen resolution, but we'd still recommend using a resolution of at least 1024 pixels in width. Personally, I use 1280 pixels, and that looks smashing! I've also just noticed a few formatting bugs in Internet Explorer, but I haven't found any in Firefox, so that's yet another reason for using Firefox. Anyway, it shouldn't have an impact on the content, which should still be readable, although the theme won't look that great.

So, have a look around, and please report back to me on what you think of it and if you've found any serious bugs. Thanks smile.gif

Sexy! Simple layout - Orange on top, white background.

Although the orange SE-NSE button is out of alignment. (In Firefox 2.0.0.14)

If it's only by a pixel in height and width, then it's not a mistake smile.gif

Glad you like it though smile.gif

That's the mobile version in Opera. Don't know why it gets picked up as a mobile device. Anyway, you can exit the mobile version at the bottom of the page.

Yea, by a pixel in y-axis location. =)

I feel that the right sidebar title headings need not be italics. Bold will do just fine. Also, the Submit News button looks awkward - a hard-edged single-coloured orange rectangle pops out of nowhere to say "Submit News" ohmy.gif ?

Thanks Mizzle, pressing Exit Mobile Version seems to have sorted it. It goes to the full page each time now.
Strange that it would load the mobile version until you tell it not to confused.gif

@Mizzle.

Although I GREATLY appreciate your work especially for the tolerances you've withstanded in the 'other' forum just last month, I loved the older design. I'm hoping on the next update you can find a balance of simplicity and warmth it had before. Still not bad though, no issues viewing in Firefox 2.0.0.14!

Changing around a website is not an easy task, especially with CSS in use. wink.gif

I've installed a plug-in that should make it possible for registered users to change the theme. I think this should be done in the control panel - can anybody check?
