 WM Experts is an interesting site, and they sure do know about the stuff they write about. A short while ago, they published a preview of the XPERIA X1, and it looks like they are extremely impressed; Overall this might be the best hardware I've ever seen on a Windows Mobile device. [...] The screen. Good god, the screen is really beautiful. Flush, bright, and very high resolution. [...] So yes, the hardware delivers. Sorry to say this but the processor doesn't beat the iPhone
 . Nah but seriously, against the iPhone it's got GPS, HSDPA/HSUPA, 3.2MP camera, 800x480 px display (not multi-touch unfortunately  ), full-featured Bluetooth and MicroSD which is awesome.Might consider getting one depending on whether Apple will match it in the 3G iPhone and how much this will cost. Also I'm not so keen on WM, so there will have to be an Android port available before I do in that case. Edit: Actually, 800x480 isn't a VESA resolution, so that sucks. --------------------  Status: I'll be back! |

SE shows they can dominate the market! haha,
 , i really want to buy this phone, but p5 is coming out, though I like the way the keypad slides out, compared to the p5, but p5 looks great as well

That sounds very sweet indeed! It might not be the most flash of features, but I thought this was rather delish:

Ok, there are a few different interpretations of what constitutes WVGA but 800x480 seems to be winning out as it fits the standard widescreen monitor ratio of 8:5 (16:10). I'm sure that it's a resolution that'll get a lot of support as it becomes more common. Oh and you forgot that the X1 also has a proper qwerty keyboard over the iPhone as well

Some new info about realease of X1, spoke to one of my contacts and he told me that they will start to ship units in q3 to some regions!
Used it aswell last week and wow what a device, its really small but still have all that power |
