 I had a wee play with the W380 today and I am well and truly smitten with it. It's not a handset for the technoista as it is a decidedly low-end handset in terms of features, but that's not where its strength lies. Granted that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I think many will agree that the W380 cuts a rather fine dash with its trim figure and simple, clean, and almost retro looks. It's not a phone that many of you may have considered buying because of the feature set, but I urge you to take another look if you are seeking a simple, yet elegant, handset for going out or on other occasions when your main handset may be too bulky or lacking in charm. It is isn't it? I really liked the look and feel of the handset, it's not the be and end all, but it really does appeal to me as a 'going out' handset. It's focus is on music of course and to be honest if you just want a handset that does the basics with a musical kick it would do the job very nicely indeed.

I tried the phone too, I really liked the feel of the keypad and the screen was decent.

It's standard SE fare in some ways, notably in the UI department, but it's the design that sets it apart. The inside of the handset, the keypad and screen, is especially nice. It has a retro feel to it and a nice metallic look that ups the class factor in my opinion.
