 I came across an interesting little article that was linked on Engadget. The article in questions reported that Jaakko Kaidesoja, Nokia's head of gaming, has been making some bold statements in relation to the much rumoured PlayStation phone. Mr Kaidesoja is quoted as having said "I'm not scared about anybody." This was followed up by Mr Kaidesoja questioning Sony Ericsson's ability to produce a gaming handset: "The real question is how do they [Sony Ericsson] do it? Can they create a link between the PSP games and a phone? Can they do the multiplayer and online stuff? We've been doing this for two years and it hasn't been easy." They are certainly interesting comments for Nokia's head of gaming to make in public. One obvious interpretation would be that Nokia see Sony Ericsson as the manufacturer best placed to release a gaming handset, no doubt parent Sony's expertise in the field and the PlayStation brand having much to do withsuch a perception. The other point that one may infer from the comments is that Nokia take the idea of a possible PlayStation handset seriously enough to publicly comment on it. Of course that isn't proof that such a handset will come to fruition, but it will no doubt add fuel to the rumour conflagration that is blazing brightly around the idea of a PlayStation handset. Nokia are talking out their asses.
Nokia atm do have some better featured handsets IMHO although Xperia will up the stakes hugely. But Playstation is one of the biggest gaming names. More people have a PSP than a N-gage. (I have both  ) But I don't like Nokia's arrogance. Before, the N95 was to be addressed as a "computer" not as a phone. -------------------- |

Im getting an N95 today and from the videos ive seen the graphics are pretty beasty anyway.
but im still favoring SE

I hope that you will buy the N95 8GB. Because it has the N-Gage 2.0 chip. The other version doesn't have it.

Nope, and thats a lie, there is no N-Gage chip, its just software and on the nokia site it says the old N95 is compatible with the same games as the 8gb, and im getting the N95 for 130 pounds second hand so im stil getting a great deal

Well obviously, but the psp isnt a phone, or a camera (without that shitty ad-on annyway)

my opinion... sony makes some wicked stuff... from gaming systems, pc's, home entertainment systems, stereos, etc. you all get the picture. so please tell me why they can't use this foundation and create some wicked phones that will make nokia sh!t itself... i'll never understand SE.

I think Nokia are a little scared in case it does come out, the name alone would make it out sell N-Gage, it don't need to be any good coz its just cooler
it could have old gameboy 1 graphic's and it would still outsell N-Gage and Nokia know it

This could be one of those products where there is so much speculation and hype that SE decide to release it!

me too. i want those nokia lovers to drop dead because of what some stupid ugly dude did to the T610... didn't get the chance to watch all the videos, don't think i will because he pissed me off.
