Yes, that will work smile.gif K850 supports cards up to 32 GB, including microSD HC ones.

Hehe, the more replies, the better smile.gif

Fact is that when microSD cards have a higher capacity than 2 GB, they're HC cards (High Capacity). The Sony Ericsson K850 (and all other A200 phones for that matter) will support capacities up to 32 GB, which is the theoretical maximum capacity of microSD and MemoryStick Micro M2 cards.

The high-speed cards are designed for pro use, with D-SLRs etc.

CF has no standard as such, nothing comparable to the HC-suffixed SD standards.
So, to meet the needs of high-end users, manufacturers have created their own mish-mash of higher speed varients, notably Sandisk's Ultra- and Extreme-branded cards.

Before the SDHC standard took off, Sandisk at least (and probably other manufacturers as well), started to introduce SD cards branded in the same manner.
However, unlike CF, SD didn't really work at capacities greater than 2GB, partly because there was no agreed-upon standard, so there was guarantee that different types of 4GB SD cards would necessarily work with the same device. This is where SDHC came in.

Yeah, I think the Ultra II and Extreme II ranges of SDHC cards are SanDisks own speed categories standards: http://www.gomemory.co.uk/sd-cards.html
