 The media managing tool supplied with all new Sony Ericsson phones, Sony Ericsson Media Manager, has been updated to version 1.1, and this includes many new features and enhancements. Earlier on, the application was quite slow when converting songs and transferring files to the phone - it even displayed the wrong memory amount on my K850! It wasn't that stable either. Now all of this has been fixed, and it works quite fast. One of the best added features, however, must be the support for converting videos. In the release version, you'd have to upgrade to "Pro" to get this ability, but now it's free. The new version can be found right here! Via: The UIQ Evangelist |

If it lets you install it without registering then no, but obviously if it won;t actually allow you to install it without doing so then yes.
