Evening all,
My SE k800i has decide to give up on me. When switching on the only thing that appears is a white screen. I have read a few threads about it so I understand I need to flash my phone. Ive downloaded XS++ but i have spent a good few hours trying to find out where I can get the latest firmware. The info for the phone I have is: db2020 cid52 current firmware - R1CB001 Any help and guidance would be welcomed Thanks matt |

Matt: If you cannot get it going with XS++ (I hope you can!), then consider using wotanserver.com <http://www.wotanserver.com/en/supported-phones/sonyericsson-k800-debranding/>
They list 17 Firmware versions, for K800 series phones on that page. I used their service for my W300i, which had WSOD, on 24 December 2007. Their service cost 7 Euros. You can download their software and install it, and read their step by step instructions, before you pay them. I installed a Generic SE Firmware, when I fixed my W300i. My W300i, which a Technician for a major cell phone network said could not be fixed, is working perfectly!  After I used wotanserver, I paid someone locally to unlock it and it is now on another cell phone network. I found wotanserver, before I found this wonderful web site. I am *very* happy with the results I got using wotanserver with my W300i. HTH, Lanny

My sister using the same mobile. She got the unlocking code and instructions form http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/. Does any one know the master reset code for this mobile? |
