I recently bought the w580i and flashed it with:

+ W580_CDA102568_7_R8A_GENERIC_C_ASIA.ZIP
+ W580_R8BA024_FS_C_ASIA_RED52.fbn
+ W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn

There's a tiny problem and I am trying to figure out if it's normal or not.

Under 'Contacts', you can set a personalized light effect for each person. Also, under 'Settings' > Sounds & Alerts, you can set Light effects (for incoming calls in general I think?). However, when someone calls me, the light effects doesnt work unless my phone is open. If my phone is closed (not slid up) when someone calls, the light defaults to a green that is part of my theme (Spinnin').

Should I reflash with a different file or is this normal and I'm just being too picky? lol. Thank you in advance!

It does not work cos the light effects outlet is open when the phone is slid up, you can try to look at the phone's sides when it's slid up, and when it's slid down and the you will notice that when the phone is slid down, the light effects outlets is closed, and the lighteffects are off, when it's slid up they're open and they're on.

My phones: K800i: Velvet Black. W880i : Silver-Black.

My lights are on after I close my phone as well.

When you'all set personal light effects for contacts, does it work even when the phone is closed and you receive the incoming call?
