I've just tested it.
Its about 3 times better then 3.6 Final. It doesnt dissort letters, doesnt blur sharp objects and the colors are amazing.
But still its 2 times worse than default R1KG001 ;/ And 1 question. With default camdrivers 1 pic was mostly 500kb. Most are 350-450kb at 2MP, fine qual. Yours go up to 700kb O.o
My opinion, sry.

P.S. : You have default W850i camdriver? If yes, please share it ;]
The attachment is with Night Mode ON , Flash ON , brightness reduced to -1.0 and around 5 inches away from the object I'm satisfied with that picture really. Give me default cam drivers to compare

hows it worse than the default driver, and no i don't have the default driver anymore,
the reason you get bigger file sizes is that the picture is compressed alot less than the default driver.

I see.. So it should be better. Well i just got the default drivers and i'm sure to test. Ill post some pics to compare in 10 mins.

1. In a pitch dark room (light only from monitor).With Nightmode, Flash, Balance -0.3
2. In a pitch dark room (light only from monitor).With Nightmode, Flash, Balance -0.7
*First pics (the ones with bigger size) is with Number1 drivers, second with SE's Default (same goes for the next post)

My opinion is that default drivers are better - less noise, double lesser size. Didnt had the change to test outside. But ill do that tomorrow cuz its 2:30 AM here. Wait for new shots tomorrow.

i think my driver looks better, yea the pics have more noise but there so much more clear and natural and 200kb is complete rubbish for a 2mp picture u can use this to find out what compression your getting

Whoa.. the noise in your pics is way too much... If you find a way to keep it as low as the original driver and still get the clearer image on other items you'll get the best drivers ever.
I still didnt have the chance to do some snapshots with your driver outside, but i promise itll be first thing in the morning. See ya and too - Great job!

i don't know how to reduce the noise, the oringal driver reduces the noise by compressing the picture, but with a over compressed picture u loose clearness and detail and sometimes the colours aren't as good. a 2mp picture at 200kb is just completey rubbish it should be at least double that.

keep up hte good work! im sure you will come up with a way to reduce the noise without losing detail.
maybe you can compress the picture a little and try to find a good balance between noise and detail ?

I just put it again to test outside and at daylight. Ill do some pix tomorrow at school and ill finally give some opinion on dayshooting ;]

Just today we got first big snow and i tried some pics with the default driver... Damn they are so outcolored.. You think you can make a "Winter CamDriver" to make good photos with lots of snow around?
See for your self.. The one with the car is strangly in blue.. i'm sure i used "Automatic" color mode.. Getting so blued picture would've be of settings to Luminescent or Daylight or something.. but it was plain Auto and it got so crappy

Lol, then u think of releasing 3.8?
And one thing, phones like W580 and S500 already have camdriver that makes them record in 20 or 30 fps. You think you can do that for W850i?
As i said before, daylight pics with your drivers are very clear and blurless, but i disliked the night pics (which i make mostly..)
