CAMERA SW VERSION:- 3.0 MAIN DISPLAY:- 200605310 ___________________________________________________________________ SIR, i went throu most of the posts on the forum...and really got confused..... 1. i need 2 upgrade the firmware..... 2. patch teh firmware, so that it skips the files read write allow, disallow, message when accessing the filesystem 3. patch the display, as my min. brightness of screen,,, is 50% but still its 2 bright... cant c black in pure color. 4. upgrade the audio 4 more louder voice, and camera,,,4,,better picture. _____________________________________________________________________ 1. Sir, i have alraedy downloaded, -------------------------W710_R1JC002_MAIN_GENERIC_RED49.mbn now needed 2 know wot more do i need 2 download 2 upgrade my firmware.... i have also downloaded,, -------------------------W710_RED_CID49_R3B021_EROM-FOTA would this b of any use........ should i upgrade the EROM, would it b helpful in any way...??? under XS++, under the flash tab...i could c....3 things,,,, flash main firmware.. flash file system, and customization... i think i downloaded the main file, where 2 get the 2 files supporting my phone,,and which files... under customize file system, i could c my phone model...but no CDA and region... then wot 2 do??? during flashing the firmware, do i need 2 change the GDFS, wots teh use of it... (i have already back up the GDFS thing...) ________________________________________________________________________________ __ 2. how 2 disable the java program,,, data read write menu,,..it really annoys me off... and even i cant use,,,,, kd player...cause of that.... after every song it asks yes or no.. there is nothing such as always allow.... ________________________________________________________________________________ __ 3 & 4. will the new firmware upgrade my camera, display and sound drivers,,, so that they will b better. my display is 2 bright, my cam is not that good,,,and the volume is also low... how 2 patch these things... ________________________________________________________________________________ __ help needed.... bros.... thankin u heartly... angel |

if u want just to upgrade firmware use SEUS...
patching db2020 phones especially these things you wrote, is impossible in this moment, so u must wait... for the java permissions use EQhalmer, u can find it here in this forum... I don't know if there are any better camdrivers and dispdrivers than the original drivers, cause there isn't anybody, who will upgrade them...=// and acoustics there are thousands of acoustic drivers, just search --------------------     |

upgrading with seus, will it upgrade the CID also..????
searched for EQhalmer 2 remove the permission,,but found it for 810i,,mine is w710i. so will it work on my phone.????? thanx angel |
