i heard that when u flash ur k800 to k810
the keypad wont light up so in order to make it work we hav to upload k800 light effects -------------------- -inactive currently cuz got some problems- |

u could brick ur phone
a non 3g phone flash to a 3g phone u can search for k818 fs n main as k818 is a non 3g model for k810 -------------------- -inactive currently cuz got some problems- |

Hey,
I've got a DB2020 k800i on o2 network, tried to put new light effects on it but something went wrong. Got the original K800 effects from these forums and put them in the ir correct place using xs++ but i' still having problems. the problem is that when i turn the phone on all the lights work ok, but when it goes into sleep mode and i press the backup button to bring it out of sleep, the screen and keypad lights take about ten seconds to activate! can someone offer a solution please, would be really grateful. If it can't be fixed then i'm gunna have to buy a new k800!!! No, all lighteffects are the same for any K800i. UI-Setting-restore, what's that

Problem solved!
 Updated the handset with SEUS and it fixed the problem. Sure, it updated the CID to 53 so I can't use XS++ anymore, but there's always JDFlasher. Thanks for the suggestions though.
