Video Player of K810i Options

hello all

I would like to ask if it is possible to PAUSE and Forward/rewind the video player of K810i?


and also i their a 3rd party video player application for K810i?

Here is VideoManiac by grafmoto (it's only in Russian)
Full workability is guaranteed only on JP-7 phones (K810 incl.)
It is able to:
-play movies
-rotate picture
-full screen
-fast forward/rewind
-go to time position indicated
-make snapshots

Controls:
joystick - play/pause
joy down - rotate
joy up - full screen
joy left/right (keep pressed) - FF/RW
joy left/right (short pressing) - next/previous video
right soft button - info/go to time position
left soft button - snapshot
back - quit

Snapshot saves in png format in the same folder where the video is, with the same name + png
When video is rotated then joystick controls rotate too.
There is only partial workability on JP-5 phones!

Hey, I installed this program on my phone. But when I run the program it only comes up with 2 buttons. What is supposed to happen when I run it? Shouldn't it bring up which folders I want to access? I am running this program on a W300i.

I know this may be a stupid question, but how do I do that? When I got to permissions and select "read user data" it says "permissions not configurable". Do I need to remove java restrictions? I've found the patch, from this thread http://forums.se-nse.net/index.php?showtopic=5103

but will the permissions patch for the W800i also work for my W300i?

No.
You have to flash Halmer certificate into the cell with Phone XS or Setool2 lite.

I downloaded both Phone XS and Setool2 light. But neither are letting me connect to my phone. I followed the instructions by turning off the phone, holding "C" and pluging the phone in. Should it already be plugged into the computer first or the phone? I've tried it both ways but it doesn't work.

First plug the cable to PC then press Identify in Setool2lite and read what is written in left window

hello guys and girls,

i just found out that you can pause,rewind/forward a movie using the default video player of K810i,


Open "Entertainment -> Video Player " browse for your favorite video and play ( my video is 240 x 320 so it plays in fullscreen)

1. Right key = other settings
2. Left key = PAUSE
3. center key = PAUSE
4. Down key = when press once it will go to next video file but when press and hold the function will be forward (note : no indication of the time for forward)
5. Up key = when press once it will go back to the previous video file but then press and hold the function will be backward (note, no indication of the time for backward)

yea mayn y dont yo use Video Player of K810...ima go to Menu>Entertainment>Video Player...frm der yo can play,pause,fullscreen,fast forward,n do othr thngz too......

but if yo try to play frm file manager yo cant do fast forward n all...so jus try it...
iused VideoManiac n thought dat default player is betr den it....no diff. jus dt yo using a java app to run yo vido.!!!

Well that's because it is the only version that supports video playback.
By the way did anyone try to seek a video file?
I don't see fast forwarding works.

I mean there is no sound, and the forward/reward functions are changing... full screen view to small view

I have just installed the english version on my K800i, but it's behaving strangely:
I can start a video, but i can't FF or jump to a specific time.

the video file i am trying is a 2 hour mp4 video (350mb, 320x240) that works great in the K800's built-in video player, with the VideoManiac, the FF will work correctly for the first 10 minutes or so, then just jumps to the end of the video, and starts again from the beginning.

while the jump to specific time point in the video will jump immediately to the start.

are these bugs in the app, or it should work in this way?

any other alternatives? i just want a video player that remembers or let me set a start point to play from...
