K510i Modding
Here's a tutorial to make it: Things you need: Old_driver: http://thedy.extra.hu/index.php?dir=Progra..._Driver_old.zip XS++: http:http://thedy.extra.hu/index.php?dir=Progra...ad=XS%2B%2B.RAR FAR+SEFP: http://thedy.extra.hu/index.php?dir=Progra...=Far%2BSEFP.rar And MAIN firmware: http://thedy.extra.hu/index.php?dir=Firmwa...NERIC_RED49.mbn After every try take out the battery and take back. Connect the phone with pressing C button. The computer ask the driver(Sony Ericsson Flash Driver) and take the old_driver. The Progress: Battery out and take in. XS++: Start XS and to the MAIN attach the K510_p3k_dcu.49R.ssw(to FS doesn't attach anything becouse you must customize than) and press FLASH button. When finishing Flash you must press the STOP button. Battery out and take in. FAR: Than start FAR(with SEFP plugin):alt+F1 and 0 Connection Options: Device:DCU-60 SPEED:921600 Flow:RTS & DTR Boot Script:w300_w810_z550_cid49 Than press ENTER THE MATRIX When you see: FLASH & FS-->You can only acces to FS. In FS you can find drivers, menu, layout an so... When you finish you go back in FAR manager when the program asks. You press yes and disconnect the phone. XS++ again: Start XS++ again and this time to MAIN attach the K510_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_RED49.mbn file and press FLASH.(to FS doesn't attach anithing becouse you must customize than) When it finishes take the battery out and take it back. Hi, i have a k510i it is very boring please help me. I am very confused to what those programs are and how to use them and what they will do to my phone could you please help me. Thanks i think your great. and one more thing do you know how to disable sleep on a phone??

thanks thedy01 thats such a great tut...cant complain but i think "thebullet" is a newbie to FAR and stuff...so can u add some screenshots and stuff for him...as we all were at some time in his position..thanks bro

Hey!
Thanks alot for the video it looks very very complicated as it is to fast and i dont know what that program is and what files top use and what it does to my phone lol. I would like to ask is there anyway of me adding an FM radio to my phone like the k750i one? thanks for the help. |

I think you can't put radio on your phone:S
If you see the tutorial in the first post the video isn't complicated. In the first post you can find the program names and everything. Just a reply to say i successfully modded my K510i and debranded it from T-mobile, would you believe that they removed the media player and unless you used T-zones (T-mobile wap service) made the side button redundant! Thanks very much for writing this. Im now going to finish off this phone by making a W200i/K510i hybrid

I cant download the last file MAIN firmware: http://thedy.extra.hu/index.php?dir=Firmwa...RIC_RED49.mbn... maybe link is dead... and i successfully get connected with FAR but when i try to enter in Fs my phone go into mass storage mode..

did you flash a fake main to your phone? what phone are you using?
