I have a w850 which i want to unlock i have setool2 and sonics...
can any of these unlock the fone...? Also i have a w880i that i want to use with xs++ but wen i press c it turns on the fone (as this is also the power button) it isnt because i dont have the drivers installed because it detects my w850 can i use w880 with xs++ and how? cheers i need to know urgently if i can so any help is appreciated cheers -------------------- |

I know that you said that its not the drivers but it most probably is. I think that you need to install w880 drivers because the driver is different for each phone.

no i worked it out and NO IT WASNT the drivers like i said its because the w880 you hold 2 and 5 because c is thepower buttn on the w880 so wen i press it it turns on b4 i insert the cable. any help on the unlocking

Well as far as i know to unlock your w850 you need to use something like davinci or wotan or go to a mobile shop
unfortunatly you cant unlock for free at the moment  - i know if we could my k750+w800 would have their locks obliterated in seconds

You can unlock the W850i either by unlock code or by server
the server solution is called d-clientserver and uses the DCU60 cable that comes with the phone. http://www.d-clientserver.com/ The unlock codes method just requires you to enter a code http://www.mobilephoneunlockingsite.com/unlockcodes.php Give me a shout if you got any questions. |

you can unlock for free using setool2lite and SIMLockPatchGen_v2.1 coz i did it
 1st thing i did was used xs++ to upgrade to cid 52 i then used setool2lite to flash main and the fs. before you flash you use the simlockpatchGen to make a .vkp patch which you then add to the misc files on setool2lite and flash it bypassing the db2020 security and obviously selecting w850 in the phone selector box. It will flash the main and the fs, then say 'apply the patch yes to remove no to apply' press no. I then used xs++ to upload a custom pack. voila the w850i is now unlocked and debranded  -------------------- w850i sandisk 4 gig memory card hpm-82 hands free / k750 > w800 r1bd001 patch unlocked virtual 5.1 surround accoustics xp theme xp startup and shutdown including sounds xp screensaver cchaos cousin btw
